K.D. Kells is a Melbourne-based writer of Young Adult fiction.

She has a background in publishing and graphic design, and spends her days fighting her cat for control of her computer. She has completed a Postgraduate Certificate of Publishing and Editing at Monash University, and the 6 month Write Your Novel course with the Australian Writer's Centre.

She has been short-listed in the Australian Writer's Centre Flash Fiction competition, and published in #8WordStory by the Queensland Writers Centre. She has won the First Five Pages competition twice.

K.D. Kells loves all things food and tea related. She has a guilty weakness for Japanese dramas and kids cartoons.
